Evening Primrose Original Artwork

As the sun sets, the pink evening primrose opens signalling the beginning of twilight. It's a magical time of day as the blush pinks fade to tan, the lighter greens fade to dark. This tapestry of banksia, eucalyptus, grass tree, African daisies and scattering of primrose, is a nod to old Celtic and medieval beliefs that associate primrose with fairies, good luck, and gateways to magical realms. My little friend Primrose who helped me paint some of the pink sky, agrees. She may also have naming rights.
