This painting was originally created for a very special woman in my life, Barbara. She was a wonderful mum-type figure to me in my teens and always wore hot fuchsia pink! Naturally, I called her Fuchsia Barbies. Now that she is 80, she deserved a very special painting just for her.

The painting is full of pinks and features fuchsias that drop, with their gorgeous layered, chandelier-like blooms, into the artwork. It is contrasted with deep navy tones and touches of lavender and greens, adding a vibrant pop of colour to any room.
