No matter how far... Original Artwork

This painting was created for a family that moved from Australia to Hong Kong and asked if I could help them not feel homesick by bringing a bit of home by the ocean, into their new place. 

"No matter how far..." taken from the lyrics immortalised by the late Peter Allen, is a bright and joyful reminder of the abundance of flora, ocean and light we celebrate here in Australia. The ultra-violet blue line across the painting is the shape of the winding road that leads along the coast if you were to look at it from the sky. Locally we call it "beyond the bends". 

This is surrounded by a wild assortment of palms, eucalypt, Norfolk pine trees, lotus flowers and other botanical goodies.
