Dragonflies blow my mind with their beauty and cleverness. The way they fly — even upside down — seems effortless and mesmerising. Their ability to instantly change direction is a beautiful reminder to stay adaptable and lighthearted when facing life's challenges.

I loved painting this pretty scene filled with frangipani, seedpods and palms, while playing with the colours of grape and light blue in particular.

This pair splits the painting into two squares, so the garden carries on from one canvas to the next. Hang them side by side with a small gap and the scene flows right across your wall. They work above a bed or sofa, either side of a window, or across two walls in a corner.
